The order covers two complete high-strength alloy steel formwork production lines, from decoiler to PLC-controlled hydraulic punching and cutting.

Why the customer ordered two lines
For a manufacturer at this scale, one line is not enough. Two lines give the plant parallel output, more flexibility across different formwork profiles, and a production buffer when one line is being serviced or changed over.
High-strength alloy formwork puts higher loads on the forming stations, rollers, and drive system than standard carbon steel. Because this is a high-strength alloy steel line, it was built with a casting frame structure, gearbox drive, 22 forming stations, and Cr12Mov rollers. This combination keeps the profile stable when the material reaches the upper end of the thickness and strength range.
What the line delivers in daily production
The line is fully automatic under PLC control. The operator sets the product length and quantity on the touch screen, and the line runs the sequence without manual intervention between the main stations:
- The decoiler feeds galvanized, PPGI, or carbon steel coil.
- The main roll forming machine forms the profile through 22 stations.
- The press machine punches the required holes.
- The hydraulic cutting unit cuts the product to the set length.
- The out table receives the finished formwork profile.
Because the forming, punching, and cutting steps run in one continuous flow, the customer gets consistent profiles and long sections without joints. That reduces secondary handling and keeps the downstream assembly process predictable.
Built for high-strength alloy steel formwork
High-strength alloy formwork is increasingly used for shear walls, columns, beams, slabs, climbing formwork, and tunnel formwork. Compared with traditional wood and aluminum formwork, roll formed steel formwork can save labor cost, reduce material waste, and be reused many times over its service life.
Those benefits only hold when the machine can form the profile accurately at the required steel grade. On this project, the key configuration points were:
- Casting frame structure for rigidity under high-strength coil loads
- Gearbox drive for stable speed and torque during continuous production
- 22 forming stations for a gradual, controlled profile transition

- PLC control with hydraulic punching and cutting for repeatable output
- 22 kW main motor matched to 1.5-3.0 mm steel at 0-30 m/min
