Steel sheet pile is the foundation material that holds back earth and water: interlocking sections driven into the ground form retaining walls with watertight joints on both edges. It is used across port, river, canal and underground foundation work. The profile is demanding — the interlock has to mate perfectly in the ground — and that is what shapes the machine you should buy.
1. The interlock is the product
Every sheet pile section carries an interlocking joint on each edge, and the wall only works if every joint mates. That is why our sheet pile line uses 30 forming stations — more than any other line in our range — dedicated to getting the lock profile exact, on every piece, all day. When you compare quotations, compare station count on the lock stations first.
2. Material and gauge
The line runs carbon steel coil. Sheet pile is a structural product: the gauge and grade come from the engineering design of the wall, so agree the section and the coil spec before the machine is finalized.
3. Line configuration
The complete line: hydraulic decoiler (heavy coil handling from the start), main roll forming machine, cutting machine, outer table, hydraulic system and PLC control. Nominal forming speed is 0–15 m/min — slower than a channel line, by design, because the joint tolerances come before raw speed.
